Attach one 2 x 8 stud piece to two 2 x 4 stud piece. The 2 x 4 piece should be on top of each other at the far end. Place a 2-stud square flat piece at the front of the bricks and another one at the back.
Attach another two 2 x 4 stud flat pieces to the front of the trigger assembly, placing them perpendicular to the front of the trigger. Put two 2-stud square pieces in the center of the front plates and attached two 1 x 2 stud flat pieces on either side. Attach a 3 x 2 stud piece onto the top of the structure.
Connect the back of the trigger to the Lego gun, ensuring that the two flat places attached on to the sides of the gun. Put a 4-stud piece onto the center of a 2-stud flat piece. Place the remaining stud ahead of the trigger. Repeat this step and attach it across the trigger. Place it toward the front.
Attach an elastic band from the crossbeam to the back of the trigger assembly. When you pull the trigger it will flip the trigger piece up and reset the device.
