Mechanism
The CYMA MP5, being an AEG, comes standard with a gear box connected to a battery-powered motor, and a circuit board connected to an air piston and a mechanical box that controls the release of air to power the pellets. AEGs can have a very complicated mechanism inside the gun and these types are some of the most powerful airsoft rifles available today. The CYMA MP5 also comes standard with a rechargeable battery, so all a user has to do is charge the battery, install it into the gun and start shooting.
Standard Features
The CYMA MP5 comes standard with a scope, a pistol grip style handle, a large magazine and a battery charger. It also comes with an adjustable butt stock that can be customized depending on the user's preference. Two magazine types are available: high capacity and higher capacity. The high capacity magazine holds an ample supply of plastic pellets and can be used for long range attacks, while the higher capacity dual magazine holds more pellets than the first magazine, but can only be used on medium range attacks.
Power and Firing Mode
The CYMA MP5 comes standard with full automatic firing mode; all a user has to do is point to the target and squeeze the trigger for the gun to spew out plastic pellets. Its average power is around 250 feet per second, and it also comes standard with "Hop Up" technology, which refers to the additional equipment installed on the airsoft gun to create spin on the pellets as they are released from the barrel. This spinning effect creates a straighter trajectory, improving the MP5's accuracy.
Physical Features and Other Accessories
At five pounds, the CYMA CM023 looks, feels and weighs like a real Heckler &Koch MP5. The whole gun, except for the sliding metal rails on the butt stock, is made out of Acrylonitrile butadiene styrene (ABS), which is a type of thermoplastic that's tough and impact-resistant. The CYMA MP5 also comes with shoulder straps and a silencer.
