Instructions
Permanent Fixtures
Attach clip or ring to the back of the toy for hanging from a hook. You can use double-sided tape or small nails or screws if the toy is heavy, such as a large chalkboard.
Measure the distance between the toy's clips or rings. Mark points on the wall corresponding to the distance between the fasteners at the back of the toy. Use a level to make sure the marks are in a horizontal line.
Drill wall anchor holes with a power drill at the point you have marked. The wall anchor instructions will specify the hole diameters. Push the drywall anchors into the holes.
Insert the included screws into the wall anchors, and tighten them with a screwdriver. Leave enough of the screw heads visible to latch with the toy's clips or rings.
Lift the toy into place and hang it from the screws.
Velcro
Peel the backings from the hook side (the harder side) of several strips of adhesive Velcro. Attach the adhesive hooks at desired locations on the wall.
Peel the backings from the loop side (the softer side) of several strips of adhesive Velcro. The size of these strips should roughly correspond to the size of the wall-mounted strips.
Attach the adhesive loops onto lightweight toys, and stick them to the wall-mounted Velcro.
Magnetic Wall
Cut a thin piece of ferrous metal (iron bearing, so that it will be attracted to magnets) to a size appropriate for mounting on a wall. Use a power grinder with a metal cutting attachment, or have metal cut at a home improvement store.
Remove any sharp edges from the metal with a rotary tool equipped with a metal buffing attachment. Cut a length of rubber trim material to match the perimeter of the metal sheet.
Wrap the rubber trim around the metal sheet and secure it with caulking or an all-purpose adhesive. This will cover any remaining sharp edges. Position the metal sheet where it will mount on the wall.
Hold the sheet in position while drilling mounting holes at the corners. Drill the holes through the metal and the wall. Use a drill with an appropriate size for wall anchors that will insert into the holes.
Remove the metal sheet, and push wall anchors into the holes. Line up the holes in the metal sheet with wall anchors, and insert the screws included with the anchors. Tighten them with a screwdriver.
Stick on magnetic toys, or hang artwork with refrigerator magnets.
