Instructions

  1. Making the Gun

    • 1

Use the marker to draw a gun shape onto the cardboard. It should be the size you want it to be that fits in your hand, trace an image of a gun if needed. Cut the image that you drew out of the cardboard using the scissors or utility knife. This is the piece that becomes the template.

    • 2

Trace the template of the gun four more times on the cardboard. Draw a line across the barrel part of the gun slightly over halfway down on two of the cardboard gun tracings. Draw the lines on the inside of the barrel and angle the barrel up 2 inches away from the butt of the gun.

    • 3

Cut the remaining parts of the gun out of the cardboard once you trace them. Trim the pieces as needed to ensure that the butts of the gun are the same size and shape of one another. Glue the pieces that you cut out together, line up all of the butt pieces correctly. Place these pieces around the outside of the gun, and the pieces should hook in the center of the gun.

    • 4

Wrap the gun using elastic bands and cover the cardboard using something heavy to hold the pieces together. Let the cardboard dry this way overnight.

    Firing the Gun

    • 5

Wrap elastic bands around the butt of the gun to keep for later use. Load the gun using a rubber band that hooks to the center of the gun. Pull the rest of the band back around the back of the gun. It should sit on the back of the gun until you're ready to fire it. The band fits back around the gun, and sits on the front of the gun until it is released to fire.

    • 6

Aim the gun at the target, and pull the elastic off the back of the gun, stretch the rubber band and release the band.

    • 7

Reload the gun using the rubber bands, and repeat the steps above.
