How to Troubleshoot a Razor Ground Force

The Razor Ground Force is a small electric go-kart designed for children and adults alike. The Ground Force utilizes a small battery that, if fully charged, should run for about 45 minutes at a maximum speed of 12 miles per hour. If you are experiencing problems with your Ground Force go-kart, there are a few troubleshooting steps that you can take before you contact customer support. Troubleshooting will help you better identify the actual problem.

Instructions

    • 1

Charge the battery for at least 12 hours. The Ground Force requires 18 hours on first charge and 12 hours for each additional charge. If you are not getting power, you may need to recharge.

    • 2

Examine the charging connecter to ensure it is firmly connected into the Ground Force's charging port. Additionally, test another electronic device in your wall outlet to prove that it is receiving power.

    • 3

Follow each of the wires on the Ground Force to spot loose connections. Loose wires and connections will cause the Ground Force to stop and start suddenly.

    • 4

Drive the Ground Force only on flat, clean surfaces. The go-kart was not intended for off-roading or steep hills; attempting to drive on these terrains will cause sluggish performance.

    • 5

Calculate the total weight you are putting in the go-kart. The Ground Force supports up to 140 pounds; any extra weight will result in performance problems.
