How to Operate a Nitro Buggy

If you are unable to drive your dream vehicle in real life, the next best thing is to drive a remote-controlled replica. The X-Terminator Nitro Buggy is a remote-controlled model that is 1/8 the scale of a normal sized buggy and can be driven around your backyard or driveway. To operate your Nitro Buggy, you must turn the controller and then start up the vehicle's engine.

Instructions

    • 1

Flip the "On/Off" switch on the left side of the remote control unit to the "On" position. A green LED light will turn on to indicate power is being received. Flip the Nitro Buggy over and move the "On/Off" switch at the bottom to the "On" position. You will hear a mechanical noise for a few seconds once it turns on.

    • 2

Put the Nitro Buggy back on its wheels. Lift up the fuel tank lid and use the provided fuel container to add fuel to the tank. Fill it until the fuel reaches just below the top of the tank, then close the lid.

    • 3

Move the throttle on the remote control to the "Open" position and cover the tuned pipe with your finger. Grasp the starter cord, and pull it out several times in a row. When you see fuel begin to move from the fuel tank through the fuel lines, stop pulling the cord and release your finger from the pipe.

    • 4

Move the throttle on the remote to the "Close" position, and then pull the starting cord three times quickly. Insert the starter on the top of the glow plug and hold the vehicle with one hand. Pull on the starter cord until the engine starts up.

    • 5

Use the remote control to operate the Nitro Buggy. Push the throttle forward to begin moving, and pull it back to slow down. Use the steering wheel to turn the vehicle left and right as you drive. When finished, pinch the fuel line on the vehicle to stop fuel from flowing and the engine will shut off.
