How to Make a LEGO Star Fighter

"Starfighter" is a term to describe small science fiction aircrafts designed for armed combat. Starfighter crafts are used in combat video games and science fiction episodes such as the "X-Wing" series and "Star Trek." Some examples in the "Star Wars" and "Star Trek" episodes are the ARC-170 starfighter, V-19 Torrent starfighter and the Federation Attack Fighter. With various LEGO pieces, you can create a small starfighter craft.

Instructions

    • 1

Lay a black 2-by-3 plate on a flat surface. Then connect the bottom part of the red 1-by-4 plate on the two right lumps vertically.

    • 2

Connect a left red 2-by-4 plate with angle horizontally on the left lumps of the 2-by-3 plate and then a right red 2-by-4 plate with angle on the right lumps. Lay this structure aside. This piece should look like a slice of pizza where the red 1-by-4 plate is the crust.

    • 3

Connect a round gray 1-by-1 (tr.) plate on both ends of the longer part of 1-by-2/1-by-4 angle plate piece. Place a green 1-by-2 plate in the center of the round plates. Connect a green 1-by-2 plate with 1 knob on top of the green 1-by-2 plate. Grab the other piece that you laid aside and connect this structure on the back end (the crust) of the first structure. The green pieces should face toward the right of the structure.

    • 4

Connect a black 1-by-2 plate vertically next to the second structure you just created. Then connect three red 1-by-2 plates with 1 knob pieces vertically next to the black plate.

    • 5

Connect a white 1-by-1 plate on the lump of the 1-by-1-by-1 1/3 brick with arch piece and then connect the piece to the back of the green piece connected earlier.

    • 6

Connect one red 1-by-1 flat tile on the edges of the left red 2-by-4 plate with angle and the right red 2-by-4 plate with angle. The red tiles should have the 1-by-2 of the 1-by-2/1-by-4 red angle plate piece in between them.

    • 7

Connect a white 1-by-2 plate with 1 knob directly on top of the 1-by-2 of the red 1-by-2/1-by-4 angle plate piece. Connect a red 1-by-1 piece underneath the left edge of the white 1-by-4 flat tile piece and then connect the white piece on the whole red piece below the black 1-by-2 plate piece that was connected earlier in Step 4.

    • 8

Add a red 1-by-2 flat tile on top of the black 1-by-2 plate. Place a translucent yellow 1-by-1 flat tile on top of the white 1-by-2 plate with 1 knob that was added earlier to complete the LEGO Star Fighter.
