If you are a magician --- or an aspiring magician --- then you may want to try the dove egg magic trick. This trick allows you to produce a dove from an egg, which you can use to surprise and confound your audience. Instructions

      Pick up the large magic egg prop. It will be about 6 inches tall.

      Place a live dove into the egg before you go out onto stage. Close the egg.

      Place the satin or sateen cloth over the egg and say a personalized spell or rhyme. You might also tap the top of the egg with your magician's stick.

      Take the cloth off the egg.

      Crack the egg on the side of table gently. The giant egg is made of aluminum and will open easily. Pull the sides of the egg open to release the dove into the audience.
