How to Make a LEGO Indiana Jones Seaplane

In the video game, "LEGO Indiana Jones," every part of the "Indiana Jones" universe is recreated using LEGO blocks. This includes the seaplane that Indiana Jones uses to fly to Nepal during "Raiders of the Lost Ark." With LEGO's DesignByMe program, you have the ability to build the seaplane yourself. DesignByMe is acquired from LEGO's website and costs nothing to download.

Instructions

  Visit LEGO's DesignByMe website. Click the blue "Download" box and save the file to your computer. Double-click the file to open it. Read the text on the screen to install the DesignByMe program.

  Click on the DesignByMe logo in the Start Menu to open the program.

  Select a long, rectangular block. Lay it in the center of the screen. Lay another one a few spaces away from it. This creates the seaplane's landing gear.

  Build the seaplane's hull using large, round pieces. Build the dual wings so that they come off the hull.

  Place a propeller on the front of the hull.

  Send the seaplane's design to LEGO by clicking "Upload." Buy the design by selecting "Check Price." If you decide to buy the seaplane, the design is sent to your house, where it comes with instructions on how to build it.
