Tips for Real Life Beyblading

Beyblade is a spinning-top toy game from Japan, which began in 2000 with the line of toys and subsequent media. The spinning tops are used to battle, much like the cards in similar dueling games, and the tops are produced in different systems, though all seem to feature a weighted disc that helps with momentum and repelling the tops of opponents. The tops are usually launched into an arena or other type of enclosed battle area.
  1. Attack Style

    • The attack-style of Beyblades is the most aggressive of all the tops. The attack-style is used to end battles quickly by either knocking the opposing top out of the arena or by hitting the opposing top in such a way that it loses momentum and cannot continue. The attack-style has poor stamina, so using an attack Beyblade depends on the battle ending quickly. This style is most effective against a stamina-style.

    Defense Style

    • The defense-style Beyblade counters attacks by deflecting the opposing Beyblade. The defense-style has the ability to remain inside the arena even when attacked and it possesses moderate stamina. Defense-style Beyblades are most effective against attack-style Beyblades, mostly due to the top's ability to take an attack and outlast the attack-style's limited stamina.

    Stamina Style

    • Stamina-style Beyblades have the longest lasting stamina. This means they can keep spinning longer than any of the other types, but this is not a guaranteed win. This style can absorb many repeated attacks for an extended period of time, but practice and luck are necessary factors for winning. The stamina-style is most effective against a defense-style but quite vulnerable to an attack-style Beyblade.

    Balanced Style

    • The balanced-style Beyblade takes the best aspects of the other three styles, but by combining the benefits, some strengths are sacrificed. The balanced-style Beyblade has a unique ability to switch mid-spin between attack and stamina styles and has the ability to deflect attacks like the defense-style also. The balanced-style Beyblade is effective against all other types, but not always the best choice. Although it can go into an attack-style mode, the attacks are not as strong as those of an attack-style Beyblade; the same is true with regard to stamina and defense and the respective Beyblades for those styles.
