How to Take the Bearing off a YoYoJam

YoYoJam manufactures high-end yo-yos that are often used in professional competitions because of their premium construction. These yo-yos use a ball bearing to provide exceptional spin and unmatched performance. You may need to to remove your YoYoJam ball bearing to clean it or replace it altogether.

      Unscrew the two sides of the yo-yo by holding one side in the palm of your hand, then rotating the other side counterclockwise. Continue turning the one side until the two sides disconnect.

      Insert the threaded end of the yo-yo's center rod through the center of the ball bearing. The bearing is mounted on the side of the yo-yo opposite of the rod, so insert the rod only through the bearing and not back into the threaded hole behind it.

      Pry the bearing from the mount by leveraging the rod left and right, wiggling the bearing free.
