Beyblade Metal Fusion Techniques

Based on the manga series "Beyblade," the Hasbro game Beyblade: Metal Fusion consists of a fight between two battletops. During the game, two battletops launch into a battle arena. The beyblade that lasts the longest wins the battle. To improve your win ratio, practice battle techniques before matches.
  1. Beyblade Types

    • Beyblade battletops are divided into separate categories. Attack battletops act aggressively, constantly bouncing into opposing battletops. Typically, an attack battletop shines when it defeats an opponent quickly. Stamina battletops spin for a long period of time and withstand several attacks. Defense Beyblades are heavy and rarely succumb to attack. When determining your launch speed and style, consider your battletop's type and your opponent's type. When fighting an attack Beyblade, focus on defensive moves. When fighting a defense type, focus on speed and endurance. When fighting an endurance Beyblade, focus on powerful attacks.

    Launch Speed

    • When you pull the cord of the Beyblade launcher, you release a Beyblade. The faster the cord pull, the faster the launch. Typically, a faster launch leads to a faster battletop. When a battletop moves faster, its attack increases in power. However, a faster moving battletop proves more unstable and is usually more susceptible to an opponent's attack. Launch defense and stamina battletops at a moderate speed to take advantage of their power. Launch attack battletops quickly when the you face a stamina or attack type.

    Ricochet Launch

    • Unlike the straight drop of a typical launch, a ricochet launch sends a battletop spinning in a sideways direction as it enters the arena. After launch, the battletop hits the wall and rebounds. The rebound creates a strong attack that often defeats attack or stamina battletops in one smack. To complete a ricochet launch, hold your launcher so that the battletop faces the wall. Pull the launcher forward to extend the launch cord.

    Aim Attack

    • An aim attack forces your battletop to collide with your opponent's battletop. The move typically causes major damage but weakens your battletop, reducing its speed and attack strength. To perform an aim attack, hold your launcher above the battle arena. Align your battletop with your opponent's battletop and pull the cord. Your battletop launches into the arena and smacks the opponent. To improve your ability to aim your battletop launch, practice the launch before battles.
