How to Adjust a Yomega X Brain

The Yomega X-Brain is a yo-yo for beginners. This toy returns the yo-yo to the user's hand when it slows to a certain speed. This is very helpful for beginners who are just learning the basics of using a yo-yo. The Yomega return system or "brain" can be disabled once the user has become more accustomed to using a yo-yo and would like to use it on her own.

Instructions

  Hold your Yomega yo-yo on its side and locate the "smart switch." Flip it to "On."

  Wind up the yo-yo string and hold the yo-yo on its side. Let the yo-yo drop. The Yomega clutch system will allow the yo-yo to spin until it reaches a certain speed and then will return the yo-yo to your hand.

  Flip the smart switch to the Off position if you wish to do tricks or to try to return the yo-yo to your hand by yourself. Hold the yo-yo on its side and let it drop. This time, snap your wrist when the yo-yo reaches the bottom of the string to return it to your hand.
