How to Fix a Nerf Vulcan

Enlist, enforce and engage is the battle cry of the Nerf N-Strike line of blasters and accessories. But it's hard to do any of the above when the Nerf N-Strike Vulcan EBF-25 malfunctions. The Vulcan EBF-25 is one of the more rugged and bulky of Nerf blasters. The Vulcan features a folding tripod, carrying handle and snap-on ammo box. The EBF-25 can fire on full or semiautomatic. The two most common repairs the Vulcan EBF-25 will need include battery change and removal of clogged or jammed darts.

Instructions

    • 1

Flip the power switch on to see if the Vulcan powers up. If it does not, use a Phillips screwdriver to loosen the battery cover screw. Open the battery door.

    • 2

Remove the old batteries and place the new ones into position, following the directional arrows inside the Vulcan's battery compartment. If the power works, but the darts are jammed, move to the next step.

    • 3

Turn the Vulcan's power switch to the off position and unsnap the lid to the belt magazine's feeding tray.

    • 4

Pull the ammo belt out of the ammo box.

    • 5

Hold the Vulcan barrel-down and shake the jammed dart clear. If the dart does not clear, bend a wire coat hanger straight and then slide through the feeding tray out into the barrel to push the dart out.
