How to Load Batteries in a Nerf Vulcan

The Nerf N-Strike Vulcan is a battery-powered dart cannon designed for children ages 8 and up. This fully automatic blaster uses an ammunition belt that holds up to 25 darts or "taggers." The Nerf Vulcan uses six D-cell batteries which are simple to load.

  • Phillips-head screwdriver
  • 6 D-cell batteries

Instructions

    • 1

      Turn the blaster upside down to access the battery compartment cover on the bottom.

      Use a Phillips-head screwdriver to loosen the screws and remove the battery compartment door.

      Pull the battery compartment out of the unit.

    • 4

      Insert six D-cell batteries into the compartment according to the polarity diagram shown inside.

    • 5

      Slide the compartment back into the unit. Replace the cover and tighten the screws.
