FlyTech Dragonfly Wing Installation

The FlyTech Dragonfly is an RC controlled electronic toy that looks and flies like a dragonfly. If you want to change the look of your dragonfly or if the wings are damaged, you can put new wings on your toy. Install new wings by removing the old pair of wings, putting the new ones in properly, testing your toy and switching the left and right wings on your toy if it doesn't fly properly.

Instructions

    • 1

Set the switch on the Dragonfly to the "Off" position to turn the toy off. Make sure that the controller is turned off by pressing the power switch located on the Dragonfly controller.

    • 2

Take the old wings off if there is already a pair of wings installed. Your dragonfly has two pairs of wings. Remove the first pair of wings by carefully pulling the rods out of their sockets. Take the wings off the hook located at the end of the body. Repeat the process for the second set of wings. Be extra cautious to avoid touching any broken edges on your toy.

    • 3

Put in the new pair of wings. Connect the rear end of the first pair of wings into the hook at the end of the body, then push the wing rods in until they go into their sockets. Repeat for the second pair of wings.

    • 4

Test your dragonfly to see if it works. Push the left stick on the controller one time to arm the dragonfly and push it again to make the wings start flapping. Push the left stick on the controller upward to increase the speed of the flapping wings. The left stick, or the throttle control, controls how high and fast your FlyTech Dragonfly will fly. Launch your toy from your hand with a gentle horizontal motion and the dragonfly will flutter away from you. Be careful not to throw it while launching.

Change the new left wing with the new right one if you find that the dragonfly doesn't fly straight or has trouble when in the air.
