How to String the Yomega Xodus II

There was a time when a yo-yo was just a yo-yo. These days, however, the technology is more advanced and the yo-yo names more flamboyant. The Yomega Xodus II is an advanced yo-yo specifically designed for tricks -- including an "off the string" type of trick where the yo-yo actually leaves the string rather than remaining attached. You will need to restring your Yomega Xodus II periodically to keep it trick-ready and to ensure best performance.

Things You'll Need

Instructions

    • 1

Pinch the replacement yo-yo string with your fingers about four inches from the non-looped end.

    • 2

Twist the string under the pinch counter-clockwise until it has un-twisted into a large loop.

    • 3

Slip the loop over half of the Xodus II so that the string slips between the two halves.

    • 4

Keep the string pinched between your fingers and spin the yo-yo clockwise to re-tighten the string.

    • 5

Release the pinch and wind the string around the yo-yo. Throw it down and up several times to ensure the string is properly placed.
