How to Build a LEGO Frog

Lego bricks and other accessories are assembled and connected in a variety of ways to create vehicles, animals, castles and working robots. Depending on what you create, Lego pieces can be costly. However, creating a simple frog will not put a hole in your pocket. Assembling a frog with Lego pieces is not as hard as you might think. You can use green Lego pieces or any color you desire.

Instructions

    • 1

Snap one 1-by-2 hinge plate to another 1-by-2 hinge plate and repeat this step to create moveable hind legs.

    • 2

Lay both pieces on a flat surface and place a 2-by-4 plate in the middle of the two pieces where the both 1-by-2 hinge plates are touching the 2-by-4 with the foot of the hinge pieces for legs bending outward.

    • 3

Attach a 1-by-4 plate on top of the three pieces to connect the three pieces together. Add another 1-by-4 plate next to the other 1-by-4 plate on top of the three pieces.

    • 4

Place a 1-by-2 plate directly on top of both 1-by-2 hinge plates for the hind legs. Then, attach two 1-by-2 plates on the front edge of the 2-by-4 plate.

    • 5

Snap two 1-by-2 hinge pieces behind the the two plates that you just attached on opposite sides to create front legs. Attach a 1-by-2 plate on top of both front pieces.

    • 6

Place a 1-by-2 wedge at the edge of both 1-by-2 hinge pieces for the front legs. Lay a 2-by-4 plate in the center of the pieces.

    • 7

Create the head of the piece by using a 2-by-2 plate and attaching two 1-by-1 plates to create the eyes for the frog. Attach the head piece on the front of the body piece.
