Things You'll Need
Instructions
Inspect the Aquapod for cracks, frays or tears in the O-ring or launch lanyard. If present, do not use the Aquapod.
Remove any labels from the 2-liter bottle. Do not use the bottle if it has cracks, bends or wrinkles in the plastic.
Fill the bottle one-third with water. Turn the Aquapod upside down, and insert the top of the bottle into the launch tube until it covers the O-ring and will go no farther --- you should hear a click when this is achieved.
Hold onto the bottle and Aquapod, and turn them right side up. Make sure the bottle is sitting straight in the Aquapod.
Lay the lanyard attached to the Aquapod out straight on the ground in the direction of the long leg of the Aquapod.
Attach the bicycle pump to the valve on the Aquapod. Pump 10 times or up to 15 times until water comes out of the release valve on the front of the Aquapod.
Lay the pump down gently to avoid disturbing the Aquapod. Make sure everyone is at least 15 feet from the Aquapod before launching.
Pull on the lanyard gently to release the bottle into the air.
