How to Take Apart a Nerf Recon

Nerf, primarily known for making foam sports equipment like the Nerf Football, now makes a complete line of tactical blasters that fire Nerf darts. The Nerf N-Strike Recon CS-6 is one such blaster, featuring a six-dart clip that can be taken in and out, barrel extension, targeting light beam and flip-up sight. The Nerf N-Strike Recon CS-6 is not an extremely large blaster. However, it can be disassembled for easy storage.

     Slide the clip release switch on the right hand side of the blaster to the forward position and then remove the clip.

     Grasp the dual-mode light beam casing and slide it forward and off the bottom front of the blaster's barrel.

   • 3

     Move the stock release switch into the down position and pull backwards on the stock to remove it.

   • 4

     Twist the barrel extension to the left and pull it straight from the front of the barrel to remove it.
