Things You'll Need
Instructions
Remove the ink tip and rear cap of pens to yield a tube, creating rails for the park. Or, tape tubular, unsharpened pencils together lengthwise for the same effect.
Cut along the corners of a cardboard cereal box. Press the cut ends down and tape in place to create quarter pipes. The slits cause the sides of the box to curve out when pressed down to make the ramps.
Place flat objects, such as empty CD cases, into your mini park to create raised ledges to grind.
Tape or glue a piece of stiff paper to two fixed, elevated points to create a half pipe. The anchor points need to be closer together than the length of the paper.
Cut sections of wire hanger the same length as as the top of your ramps. Glue along the top edges of the ramps to add coping to grind.
Place a bowl in your park, with raised edges around it, to create a pool to skate. Cutting a hole in the top of a box then placing the bowl within is an easy way to make a pool with areas around it to skate in from.
Cut two triangles of cardboard, then a rectangle of cardboard with sides equal to the long side of the triangles. Glue the pieces together to make triangular launch ramps.
Paint your park to add a touch of realism.
