How to Disassemble the Nerf Nite Finder Laser

Nerf blasters continue to evolve. One of its latest editions features a laser beam to help the shooter aim. The Nerf Nite Finder laser, or the Nite Finder EX-3, is a hand-held blaster that uses this technology. In addition to having the laser beam, this single shot pistol features a barrel and a slide. It also has a compartment beneath the barrel that holds two darts. The only time you disassemble the blaster is during battery installation.

     Hold the Nite Finder EX-3 upside down and locate the screw that holds the battery door. The door is at the bottom of the pistol grip.

     Remove the door by twisting the screw counterclockwise.

     Flip the door open and slide the old AA batteries out.

     Insert the two new batteries, following the directional arrows on the inside of the blaster.

     Close the door and reinsert the screw.
