Things You'll Need
Instructions
Set up your Nerf basketball hoop in an area that allows for some activity. Many Nerf hoops attach to a door. Set the hoop up at a height that allows for easy dunking. Your hands should be able to reach the rim with little to no jumping.
Grab the Nerf basketball with one hand. These balls are typically much smaller than regulation basketballs. Only one hand should be needed, but use two hands if necessary.
Begin your approach to the basket. You can probably stand right next to the hoop and jump up for a dunk. You can also get a running start which allows you to get more hang time for performing tricks.
Jump toward the basket with your hand outstretched toward the rim. Raise the ball above the basket.
Throw the ball through the hoop as cleanly and forcefully as you can. Do not hang on the rim when you finish the dunk, as this can damage the basket or rip it off the wall or door.
