How to Put Water in the Mattel Screecher

The Screature Interactive Dinosaur made by Mattel is bound to captivate a child with its gaping mouth, big claws and ability to attack on command. Designed for ages four and up, the toy has an infrared sensor to detect movement and respond to petting from its owner. One of the Screature's distinctive features is that it squirts water out of its mouth after the water tank is properly filled.

Instructions

- 1
  Turn the Screature over and locate the water canister. The canister is in the Screature's right foot.

  Flip the latch to open the canister by pushing it to the side. This frees the canister.
- 3
  Pick up the water canister out of the foot to expose the hole for filling.
- 4
  Hold the water canister under a sink and fill the plastic vessel.
- 5
  Turn the Mattel Screature over so its feet are facing downward.
- 6
  Push the water canister back in place over the tube and push the latch to secure it into the foot.
