The Nerf N-Strike Vulcan EBF-25 is a fully automatic, battery-powered dart gun that includes 25 reusable darts, loading belt, detachable tripod, pistol-grip trigger mechanism and a top-mounted carrying handle. The Nerf N-Strike Vulcan EBF-25 requires 6 "D" cell batteries to operate. Dead or excessively discharged batteries might cause reduced firing speed or lack of functionality. Removing the dart gun's battery tray will enable you to remove the old cells and install a fresh set of batteries. (ref#1)

Examine the lower portion of the dart gun, directly in front of the pistol grip trigger assembly. Remove the single recessed Phillips head screw located on the gray square-shaped cover, using a Phillips head screwdriver. (ref#2)

Lift the cover off the underside of the dart gun to expose the battery tray.(ref#2)

Slide the rectangular-shaped battery tray toward the trigger assembly to finish the removal process. (ref#2)
