Things You'll Need
Instructions
Find a sturdy Y-shaped piece of wood. The wood can vary somewhat in size, but a piece that is 6 to 9 inches long and 1 to 2 inches thick is best. Use a small knife to shave off the bark.
Make a slit on each side of the canvas square with the knife. The holes should be big enough for the surgical tubing to fit through. Make the holes parallel to each other and an equal distance from the closest edge. Place the end of one section of the surgical tubing through the back-side of one slit and fold it over so it makes a loop. Place a rubber band around the neck of the loop to keep it closed. Repeat on the opposite side.
Place 1 inch of the left-side surgical tubing along the left side of the Y-shaped piece of wood. Use a rubber band to secure the tubing to the wood, then wrap electrical tape around the connection. Repeat on the right side.
Hold the Y-shaped piece of wood in front of you with one hand and place a small stone in the canvas square. Pull the stone and canvas back toward you to form a V-shape, then release.
