Instructions
Circular Trampoline
Have a friend pull the damaged mat toward the frame to reduce tension on the springs as you work.
Begin unhooking springs from the mat, leaving them connected to the frame.
Gradually work your way around the entire frame. As you continue to remove springs, your friend will have to pull less and less. Eventually there will be no tension on the mat, and no pulling will be required.
Lay a replacement mat on the ground inside of the frame.
Imagine the frame as a clock face. The spring nearest to you is 12:00.
Connect the 12:00 spring to the mat.
Go to the opposite end and attach the 6:00 spring. You will have to have your friend pull the mat toward the spring to make the connection.
Connect the 3:00 and 9:00 springs in the same way, pulling the mat toward the frame until you can hook the spring in place.
Move to a position centered between two of the existing springs. This will be the new 12:00.
Connect four more springs to the mat, following the same procedure as before. The goal is to keep even pressure on all sides of the mat.
Continue adding springs, working in the centers of the gaps, until all springs are in place.
Square or Rectangular Trampoline
Remove the old mat as described in Section 1.
Attach springs to the four corners of the new mat, having a friend pull each corner toward the frame to allow the spring to be connected.
Attach the next four springs to the centers of each flat side of the mat.
Attach the rest of the springs as described in Section 1, adding one to the center of each gap until they are all in place.
