How to Disassemble a Nerf Recon

The Nerf Recon is a toy gun that shoots Nerf darts and has a light beam for targeting and a clip like a real gun. This Nerf toy comes assembled, but if you ever need to pack it up for a move or to save space, you can take it apart. To disassemble the Recon, you don't need any tools, just about five minutes of time and you'll be done.

Instructions

  Pull back the plastic slide located above the trigger, then push the clip release button located just in front of the trigger and pull the clip out of the Recon with your hands.

  Locate the light beam underneath the barrel of the Recon. Slide it away from the trigger area on the gun, then set it to the side.

  Hold the barrel extension of the gun so that the end of the barrel extension is pointed toward you. Twist the barrel extension counterclockwise 90 degrees, then pull it off the main body of the Recon with your hands.

  Locate the stock release switch just above the thumb rest by the trigger handle. Push the stock release switch down and then pull the stock away from the main body of the Recon.

  Slide the flip-up sight located on the top of the main body of the blaster away from the trigger area using your hands.
