Insert one end of the string through the eye on the end of the glow stick.
Pull the string through the eye until there is an equal length of string on each side of the eye. In other words, the glow stick should be centered on the string.
Tie the loose ends of the string together. You can tie a bow, like you would tie your shoes. Or you can tie a square knot: Hold both ends in front of you, cross them over each other, then cross them over each other again, forming a loop, and pull tightly.
