How to Make an Angle Shot With a Beyblade

Beyblade players construct multi-part tops, known as beyblades, for duels on customizable tabletop arenas in battles known as beyblade matches. Players bring their own beyblade, made from the parts in their collection, as well as a launcher to impart spin to the blade. The launchers allow players to use a variety of different shooting techniques to direct how their beyblades enter the arena. The angle shot grants the advantage of quickly closing on opposing tops for a powerful knockout blow.

Instructions

    • 1

Place your beyblade arena on a flat surface such as a floor, tabletop or counter. The arena must be as flat as possible to ensure that all areas remain balanced. Unbalanced arenas may grant an unfair advantage or prevent the tops from spinning correctly.

    • 2

Insert your beyblade into the beyblade launcher. Most launchers load at the farthest end of the device from the user's fingers.

    • 3

Ready the pull string or winder on the launcher. The string or winding mechanism imparts the starting spin of the beyblade.

    • 4

Tilt the beyblade launcher so that the beyblade appears directly parallel to the curved upper areas of the stadium. This angle allows the top to spin quickly and lunge towards the center, often knocking opposing beyblades out of the match in a single hit.

    • 5

Pull the string or release the winding mechanism to launch the beyblade. It should land on the arena surface without wobbling and then engage any opposing tops.
