How to Hang Up a Magna Doodle

Magna Doodles are exciting to play with, no matter what age you are. Made by Fisher-Price, it gained popularity amongst adults when shown hanging on Joey and Chandler's apartment door in the television series, Friends. There are creative, clever ways to hang a Magna Doodle -- and remember, they are not just for children -- Magna Doodles are great to hang in dorm rooms, offices, kitchens and garages -- or anywhere messages need reading.

Things You'll Need

Wire
Hammer
Nails
Shadow box
Frame
Adhesive hooks or hangers

Instructions

  Attach picture wire to the back and hang the wire on a screw in the wall.

  Measure the width of the holes towards the top of the Magna Doodle, and mark the wall in pencil. Hammer nails in the wall to hang it.

  Put the Magna Doodle into a homemade wooden shadow box for a fancier look and set it on a shelf -- if you want to preserve the picture drawn on it forever.

  Make or buy a large wooden frame with a backing and use Gorilla glue -- which is made for plastic -- to hold it in place. Hang this frame on the wall.

  Apply non-damaging adhesive hooks or hangers to a wall and mount the Magna Doodle on them. Specially designed to stick well and remove cleanly when necessary, these adhesive hooks and hangers are great for playroom or bedroom walls.
