Things You'll Need
Instructions
Turn your Furby over. Open the battery compartment with a small screwdriver and remove the batteries. Fit a new set of batteries, ensuring that the "+/-" polarity markings are aligned correctly according to the diagram in the battery compartment. Replace the battery cover.
Turn your Furby back over, holding it by the body and gently shake it. The base should be moving freely as you shake.
Reset your Furby. Use a small pointed object such as a cocktail stick to press the reset button. Access the button through the small hole adjacent to the battery cover on his base. Resetting will not erase the Furby's memory.
Restart your Furby. Use this step only as a last resort, as it will result in the Furby's memory being erased. Hold the Furby upside down, put a finger in its mouth, hold down the tongue button, and press the reset button on the base with a cocktail stick. Furby will revert to its "childhood" stage, as when it was new. It will need to go through its four learning stages once again.
