After hours of waving neon glowsticks around they will die out, but you can get a small spark of glow again with a special method. Glowsticks are used by children and adults all over the world. Children love the bright colors, and adults love to flash them at parties and celebrations. After a glowstick is activated it only has a short amount of life left. You can put it in the freezer to prolong the glow, but inevitably it will die out. By using a technique with boiling water, you can make the glowstick glow again.

Instructions
1
Fill a pot or pan with water. Place the pot or pan on the stove, and turn on the stove to medium heat.
2
Wait for the water to reach boiling point. When the water is boiling it will bubble, become extremely hot and steam.
3
The glow stick will begin to light up again.
Place the glowstick inside the boiling water. Keep it inside the water for at least a minute. Watch as it begins to glow again while the chemicals inside of it react to the heat.
4
Tongs are usually used to pick up very hot and cold objects.
Remove the glowstick from the water using tongs. Avoid touching it to your skin.
5
Your glowstick will be shining again.
Dry the glowstick with a hand-towel quickly, and use the glowstick promptly. The glowstick will glow again for about an hour.
