Fill the fuel tank with glow fuel using a suitable filling container. Clean up any fuel spills before attempting to start the engine.
Cover the exhaust pipe opening with your thumb and engage the engine's pull start mechanism several times.
Continue to engage the pull start mechanism until the fuel visible in the fuel line reaches the engine's carburetor. Set the engine's throttle arm to the full-throttle position to expedite the priming process, if needed.
Remove your thumb from the exhaust opening and rotate the throttle arm to the idle position before starting the engine.

Fill the fuel tank with glow fuel using a suitable filling container. Clean up any fuel spills before attempting to start the engine.
Rotate the engine's throttle arm to the full-throttle position.
Cover the carburetor opening with your thumb while rotating the propeller clockwise. Continue rotating the propeller until the fuel visible in the fuel line reaches the carburetor. Once the fuel reaches the carburetor, rotate the propeller one full revolution and remove your thumb from the carburetor opening.
Restore the throttle arm to the idle position before starting the engine.
