How to Get a Password on Password Journal

The Password Journal is an electronic journal manufactured and sold by the Radica toy company. The product is marketed for girls aged six years and older. The device features voice recognition and password protection so that thoughts and dreams are kept secure and private. The door of the journal opens automatically when the correct password has been spoken. If you have lost or forgotten your password, the product must be reset with a new password.

  Open the battery compartment. The compartment is located on the back of the unit. Remove the screw that is holding the cover in place and pop the cover off.

  Press the "Reset" button located inside the compartment. You are then prompted by the unit to reset your password.

  Hold the microphone of the journal about six inches from your face.

  Speak your password into the microphone.

  Follow the prompts of the unit to complete the reset.

  Screw the battery cover back on.
