Educational
The companies that make some of the best educational toys found in stores are LeapFrog and vTech. The popular sellers from these brands include LeapFrog Leapster and Tag systems and vTech V.Smile and V.Reader systems. Both companies use technology-based toys to help children learn. While the Leapster and V.Smile are more video game learning geared, the Tag and V.Reader are restricted solely to reading assistance. In addition to the educational electronic systems put out by these companies, they also offer a wide variety of game cartridges and specialty books that pair with the matching electronic device.
Board Games
Lego has come out with a series of board games which have exploded onto the market and won praise from the consumers. They offer a variety of games from simple to more complex. The great thing about Lego's new games is that they are completely changeable and not fixed. This means that games can be adjusted to suit different levels and break any monotony that may come from partaking in set board games. In the directions of all games Lego gives basic rules to the game along with telling players that they can create other additional rules of play. This flexibility allows children to exercise their creativity and strategy skills.
Interactive
Another popular toy brand, Fisher-Price, has created some topnotch interactive toys with the name Imaginext. The most notable Imaginext interactive toys are Big Foot the Monster and Mega T-Rex Dinosaur. Children bring Big Foot the Monster to life via a remote control and not only make it move but decide the mood of the toy. The Mega T-Rex Dinosaur, on the other hand, is not controlled by remote; children press a button on the back of the dinosaur to animate the upper half of its body.
Outdoor
For outdoor play, Razor makes some scooters and scooter hybrids. One of its newer products is a low-seated tricycle called RipRider 360. The RipRider 360 is edgier than most other trikes because it allows a child ease of movement in all directions and the ability to perform tricks. The RipRider can do all of this because of its frame and casters instead of wheels in the rear.
