Magnetic Games for Kids & Mount on Wall

Parents tend to spend a large amount of time either telling their children to pick up their toys off the floor and put them away, or doing it themselves. When the job is neglected, the house seems to become a minefield of toys scattered all over, taking up space and causing a safety hazard. Games you can mount on your walls help you save space. Magnetic games mounted on the wall make clean-up fun for kids, as the pieces are magnets that stick to the game on the wall. Additionally, since the pieces stick on the wall, pieces are less likely to be misplaced and less likely to to be a safety hazard.

Magnetic Dart Board
- Playing darts with magnetic darts rather than traditional metal-spiked darts makes the game safe for kids. Magnetic darts also do not cause harm to the wall if they miss the dart board. Magnetic dart boards are more fun for kids than traditional cork dart boards, as the magnetic pull helps their darts hit and stick firmly to the board.
Magnetic Puzzles
- Putting together a magnetic puzzle on the wall gives your child a different perspective from which to do this activity. The bases of most magnetic puzzles allow them to be hung on the wall. Other magnet puzzles are designed to be put on the wall and would be too large otherwise. Besides being a fun toy, puzzles can make a nice decoration that adds to the theme of your child's bedroom. Magnets on the wall beats picking up the pieces and putting them back in the box, or from pieces being left scattered all over the floor. Magnet puzzle pieces are also more durable and long-lasting than traditional cardboard pieces.
Iron Filings Games
- Iron filings are tiny iron bits kids can drag around a magnetic panel using a magnetic pen in order to draw pictures. Magnetic panels with iron filings can be found that are made for mounting on the wall. These often have a lever that pushes the filings to the bottom to clear the panel, in contrast to hand-held iron filing toys you need to shake to clear the fillings.

- There are magnetic board games intended to be mounted on the wall, and are bought complete with the magnetic pieces, fixing needed for installation, and game instructions. Among the magnetic wall board games available include Sudoku Junior, 4 in a Row, Snakes and Ladders, and Checkers. Playing board games on the wall don't only help with clean-up and keeping track of the pieces, but also allow for a larger play surface.
