My Blade CX2 Throttle Is Stuck on Full

The Blade CX2 is a model of remote control helicopter that you can fly around your yard. The Blade CX2 may occasionally have issues while you are flying it. One of these issues includes the throttle being stuck on full power regardless of how far forward or back it is. To solve this issue, you must reprogram the remote control, ensuring the throttle is in the middle position while doing so.

Instructions

    • 1

Turn the power switch on the both the remote control and the Blade CX2 to the "Off" position. Disconnect the main motor plugs from the motor unit on the helicopter.

    • 2

Connect the "bind plug" coming from the engine for the CX2 into the "BAT" port on the back of the receiver. Turn on the power switch to the CX2. Make sure the throttle on the controller is in the middle or neutral position for programming to work properly.

    • 3

Flip the power switch on the controller to the "On" position once you see the orange light on the controller begin to blink rapidly. The transmitter will now enter binding mode, which means it is establishing a link with the controller.

    • 4

Wait for the orange and red lights on the controller to turn solid. When this happens, the CX2 and the controller have established a connection and are now programmed to work together again. Turn off both the controller and the CX2.

    • 5

Remove the bind plug from the port on the controller. Reconnect the main motor plugs to the motor unit on the helicopter. Turn the power back on to both the CX2 and the controller. Test the throttle by slowly pushing it forward to ensure it works properly. If this did not solve the problem, you may have an internal hardware issue and may need to replace the controller.
