Things You'll Need
Instructions
Cut the PVC pipe for the handle of the light saber to the desired length. Four inches is the ideal length.
Drill a small hole in the PVC pipe where you want the switch to be located.
Place the battery pack above the switch, and hold in place. You will need from 2 to 4 batteries depending on how long your light saber is.
Attach the battery pack to the switch, using the wires on the switch to attach it to the battery pack.
Remove the insulation from the 22-gauge wire and attach to the battery pack.
Place the switch in the hole drilled in the PVC pipe in Step 2. The battery pack should fit inside the tube, which secures the switch in place.
Attach the wires from the other end of the battery pack to the positive end of the 3-watt LEDs. Make a string of LED lights.
Cut the polycarbonate tube to the appropriate length. Four feet is the usual length.
Attach the polycarbonate tube to your handle. Make sure all of the LEDs are covered with the tube. The LEDs are in the bottom of the tube. Use duct tape to ensure a snug fit.
Put the batteries in and flip the switch. Your light saber should glow.
