Toy Water Guns
Add larger water tanks. Many squirt gun makers offer larger tanks designed to give more water power for the backyard water fights. These tanks snap into place on the guns where the smaller tanks rest.
Add a larger pump action to existing super-soaker-style water guns. These push into the old housing where the stock pump rested. A bigger pump gives extra distance and strength to the water stream, and is guaranteed to soak your enemies during the water battles.
Get an aftermarket scope and mount it to the top of the squirt gun. These add a level of play "accuracy." If nothing else, it gives the kids a fun way of playing a water-based sharpshooter.
Foam Pellet Guns
Get larger magazines and clips for the foam pellet guns. Foam pellet guns fire 1 to 2 inch diameter foam pellets. Many of these toy guns accept round clips and end up looking like a multicolored Tommy gun.
Equip the toy gun with a scope for target foam pellet shooting. This teaches young shooters the nuances of aiming and firing with accuracy.
Upgrade the handle and grips. Many foam toy guns have interchangeable handles so youngsters end up with custom-colored toy guns.
