Things You'll Need
Instructions
Loosen the collar clamp and slide it upward to start attaching the handlebars to the main frame of the scooter. Using a clockwise motion, twist and thread the extension onto the fork until it reaches the lock nut. Ensure that the front wheel is pointing straight ahead and that the handlebars are square to the front wheel. Tighten the clamp using a 5 mm Allen wrench.
Slide the left and right handlebars onto the top of the "T"-shaped bar by pressing down on the spring-loaded buttons and inserting them onto the metal bars.
Unfold the scooter by placing one foot on the deck of the scooter and pushing the small "P" shaped joint release lever down. Raise the handlebars until they lock into place. You will hear a snap and the handles bars should be secure, with the release lever back in position.
Adjust the height of the handlebars to your liking by opening the clamp located on the "T"-shaped bar and sliding the bar up to an adequate position. Release your grip on the lever to lock the handlebars into place.
Place your right foot on the scooter if you are right-handed and push forward with the other foot to ride the scooter. If you are left-handed, switch stance. Steer the scooter by turning the handlebars. If you are trying to make a sharp turn, you can enhance the steering by leaning slightly into the direction of the turn you are performing. To stop the scooter, apply the brake by stepping back onto the brake mechanism that covers the rear wheel.
