How to Build a Talking Toy

You can purchase a talking toy at just about any toy store, but you may wish to make your own. This will allow you to fully customize the toy to both look and talk as you please. Further, it will provide you with a great sense of accomplishment once you finish the project. Guests will compliment you on the creative project you have completed by making your own talking toy.

  Create the talking device. You have a few options. The simple method involves simply recording your own voice with a microphone and then inserting that file into a playback device. For a more advanced toy, you should obtain a chatbot. A chatbot actually hears what the user says and responds with an artificial intelligence system.

  Plug your talking device into your toy. Whatever toy you choose to use, you need to connect the playback device to the toy. The best method is hiding the playback device inside of the toy. Make sure you have a gap on the outside of the toy in order for sound to successfully exit the toy. If your playback device requires electricity, plug the toy into an outlet.

  Test the toy. Make sure the playback device works properly. Once you complete the toy, you can invite friends over to use the new talking toy. Use some glue, or a hammer and nails, to mount your toy onto the wall if you please.
