Things You'll Need
Instructions
Lay a standard sheet of paper down vertically on a flat work surface.
Place a ruler along the bottom of the paper (which should be one of the short sides of the paper).
Place two pencil marks on the paper, with each mark 2 inches from the nearest bottom corner. Make the marks perpendicular to the ruler.
Align the ruler with one side of the paper (one of the long sides) and make another mark, 1/2 inch from the top edge of the paper. Make another mark 1/2 inch from the top on the other side of the paper, as well.
Draw lines to connect the two dots on each side of the top of the paper. Use the ruler as a guide.
Fold each of the bottom corners inward so that they touch the two pencil marks that you made in Step 3. Fold the rest of each side of the paper inward so that the other end touches the marks that you made in step four. The edge of each side should follow the pencil mark that you made in step five, thereby forming a sort of long, trapezoid shape.
Fold down the narrow end of the paper 1/2 inch.
Repeat the 1/2-inch fold seven more times, keeping your folds tight and even.
Turn the sheet of paper over.
Fold the paper in half longways.
Fold each wing downward, leaving a 1-inch crease in the middle. Ensure that the wings are even with each other.
Grasp the airplane by the center 1-inch tap and give it a gentle toss.
