Instructions for a Tyco Pro Flexpak

The Tyco Pro Flexpak is a nickel-cadmium battery pack and charger offered by the toy company Mattel. The Pro Flexpak works with Tyco R/C vehicles, enhancing overall performance and running time. The Pro Flexpak boosts R/C vehicle performance, maximizes power and adds more playtime. The Tyco Pro Flexpak comes with easy-to-follow instructions that should be read thoroughly before product use.

Instructions

  Place the Tyco Pro Flexpak charger on a level, vertical or floor mounted spot. Plug the charger into a standard household outlet.

  Hold the battery pack open. The metal contacts should be at the top and the labels marked "1" and "2," in the upper left-hand corner, should be facing you. Push the battery pack securely into the charger. Use the up arrow that is marked on the battery label and charger as a guide.

  Charge new battery packs for five and a half hours. This should be done the first two times you charge a battery pack. Subsequent battery charging requires only four hours for a complete charge. Battery packs will be slightly warm after charging is complete.

  Disconnect the battery pack from the charger. Push and hold the red button on the left side of the charger, then slide out the battery pack.

  Recharge the battery pack when the battery loses power. Allow the battery pack to cool completely before recharging; charging a hot battery pack will reduce the number of times you can recharge it.
