Things You'll Need
Instructions
Twist the bottom of the shock laser pointer to the left. The shock laser pointer is made up of a couple of different pieces. The head of the laser pointer is rounded with a hole in the middle where the beam comes out. The body is attached to the head and houses the battery, while the bottom, or cap, of the laser pointer twists off so that you can access the battery or batteries.
Remove and discard the old battery or batteries.
Insert the new battery or batteries. Match the new battery to one that was just removed. Also, if you are unsure of the size, look to the cap, which will often have a "AA" or "AAA" symbol. Place the positive end of the battery or batteries in first. You will notice that the end cap has a spring or piece of metal on it. This piece will make contact with the negative end of the battery.
Place the cap on the unit and twist it to the right until secure.
