How to Use Straps to Make a Trampoline Really Bouncy

The bounciness of a trampoline is determined by the tension in its springs, with higher spring tension resulting in a surface which provides greater rebound. Attaching additional elastic straps to the trampoline will help to increase the tension on the fabric, resulting in bigger and better jumps.

Instructions

    • 1

Hook one end of the elastic cables to the support beams on the outside of the trampoline. Space the cables out so that they are an equal distance apart all around the trampoline.

    • 2

Pull the cables as taut as you prefer and tie the excess around the metal foundation of the trampoline.

    • 3

Hook the other end of the elastic cables to the o-rings on the trampoline. Check to make sure the connection is solid or they could fly off during operation.
