How to Use Jam RC Toys

The Monster Jam RC toys are remote controlled monster trucks that duplicate the trucks used in Monster Jam rallies in miniature form. They are used for personal enjoyment and entertainment and are made by several manufacturers under Monster Jam licenses. Exact usage depends on the individual who owns the toys. The usage of the toys can differ slightly based on the specific Jam vehicle and remote, but most of the RC monster trucks are similar.

  Read any warnings that come with the RC toy. Though RC toys are often made for children, exact ages and appropriate ages will differ for each truck. Always check warnings, especially when younger children might find the truck interesting.

  Fill up the gas if necessary. There are two potential Jam toy options: electric or gas powered. The gas used by the RC trucks is not the same as the gas used in vehicles. According to Monster Truck Toys, the vehicles require a "nitro methane, methanol and oil" mixture if they are "gas" powered. If the vehicle is electric, the gas is not necessary.

  Select a driving terrain. Since the Jam vehicles are monster trucks, they can handle terrain like grass and gravel.

  Drive the RC vehicle using the remote control. The control directions might differ slightly for each vehicle, but usually pressing the bar up is forward, back is reverse and turning the other control left or right turns the vehicle.
