How to Install Batteries in the Vulcan Nerf Gun

Nerf has made a wide variety of toy guns over the years that fire foam darts and balls with high powered air pressure so kids can safely shoot objects at each other while playing. The largest Nerf gun is the Vulcan, a fully automatic Gatling gun which fires Nerf darts repeatedly. This toy gun relies on batteries to power its fully automatic capabilities. Install batteries in the battery pack in the Vulcan Nerf gun.

6D Batteries

Instructions

  Place the Vulcan Nerf Gun on the floor. Locate the cover of the battery pack, located just above the end of the trigger.

  With a Phillips-head screwdriver, unscrew the single screw which holds the cover over the battery pack of the Vulcan Nerf gun. Set this screw aside so you can reattach it later.

  Pull the long battery pack out of the Vulcan Nerf gun. This battery pack will have room for 6 D-Cell batteries. Properly install these batteries in the Vulcan Nerf gun. Make sure the positive and negative ends of the batteries are facing the right way.

  Slide the battery pack back into its proper place in the battery pack by inserting the metal ends first. Test the Vulcan to see if it fires. If it does, reattach the cover with the single screw. If it doesn't fire, check that your batteries are inserted correctly and repeat this step.
