How to Troubleshoot an EM Pinball Machine

Pinballs date as far back as the 15th century and are still commonly found publicly today. However, many pinball machines require a great deal of maintenance to function. The various parts of the machine undergo stress, which leads to circuit board malfunction and piece damage. Troubleshooting an EM pinball machine is the same as any other machine.

Instructions

    • 1

Examine the fuses behind the coin door. If you are experiencing problems with your EM pinball machine, burnt fuses may be a factor.

    • 2

Examine the circuit board for damaged leads, disconnected components or burned spots. Take visibly damaged circuit boards to an electronics repair shop.

    • 3

Examine the deposit mechanism and the coin slot for signs of jamming. You may find the coin box is full or there is some gum in the coin slot.
