How to Secure a Trampoline When It's Not in Use

A trampoline is a piece of equipment that has a rubber center held to the apparatus with several heavy-duty springs. Not using the trampoline can cause the rubber to crack and break apart. If you have your trampoline outside, it may have heavy-weather damage if it is not protected and secured properly. You can secure your trampoline by covering it with a tarp or protecting it with a cover.

  Write down the surface dimensions of the trampoline. If you no longer have the box Look at the box that the trampoline came in, contact the trampoline manufacturer. Tell the manufacturer the type of trampoline you have and ask for the measurements.

  Ask whether the company sells tarps or covers for the trampoline. If it does, purchase one from the company. If not, research trampoline companies that sell the covers or tarps online. Order a cover or tarp for your trampoline based on the measurements of the trampoline.

  Pull the tarp or cover across the top of the trampoline. Pull the elastic edges under the top of the trampoline.

  Continue pulling the cover over the surface of the trampoline until the entire surface is covered.
